Michael Friedman, MD
Dr. Michael Friedman received his Medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine, where he graduated with distinction in research. Dr. Friedman completed his residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital. He was honored by being elected to serve as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, followed by an additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Friedman holds an academic appointment with the Division of Cardiology at The New York University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is a board certified physician. Additionally, Dr. Friedman is the holder of several medical patents.
Dr. Friedman’s areas of expertise include: echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, Cardiac CT, sports cardiology, and all aspects of cardiac care. He has dedicated his career to providing his patients with the highest level of comprehensive medical care for both the treatment and prevention of disease.
